Actually working patch for current wine git
I accidentally removed a chunk too much from the last patch -- this version
works (but it is fairly ugly -- but good enough to see what the cause for the
problem is).

Try using a fresh .wine, you shouldn't need to change anything.

What you doing is totally completely wrong. Wine does not support native drivers!
All you do, is braking Wine more and more.
Works perfectly here too.

Wine has no --debugmsg option. You should use the following command instead:
WINEDEBUG=+font,+xrender wine FINALE.EXE &> /tmp/wine_log.txt

/re: I had sound when playing the game./ Now I played a few hours with winecfg.
It seems, that the mapeditor doesn't hang up, but it reacts slowly.
I have changed emulation from win2000 to win98, switched off pixel shaders,
installed audio drivers for Win98 under wine, changed some other settings where
there was a hint that it might help. I changed some other things there and back,
to see possible changes.
Now, if I hit ctrl+p on an object rich map, it takes only 54 seconds at 100% CPU
load to draw passability marks. If i click on other map area or move scrolls, it
takes another 54 sec. What am I doing wrong?
I also tried to install chipset drivers under wine, but it failed saying, that
"a registry value is not ok, please reboot." When I start winecfg, i receive
some messages in terminal window, "install libjack.so", and an opengl error.
Thank You for help in advance. I go back to RTFM mode now.

3 log files, 1000 last lines each
log 1: wine crash when trying to print jazzfontexample.MUS
log 2: same, but title "This is title but alll scandinavian äääää -letters are
boxes." deleted before printing
log 3: wine crash when trying to print "normal font" music file
"normal file" printing worked ok in morning but now not, I don't know why.
