The DDraw 2 documentation is available in /dev/null at some Microsoft server. Or actually, they call that NUL I think :-( . Removed a long time ago. Because of that I started writing documentation in dlls/ddraw/ based on the old implementation, to encourage extending it based on what we find out. I have older docs from old dx sdks, but they are not of much use usually, because the d3d7 and newer docs still apply.
