Summary: autocad 2002 trial installer fails
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: Installer
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-msi
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
I'm using the trial installer that comes with the
book "Autocad 2002 Bible",
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764536117/
The autocad 2002 trial installer decides halfway
through that it needs to change media, which is
strange, since there's only one disc.
I'll attach a +msi log.

Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.37.
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-programs
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: rrl125(a)gmail.com
On fresh install of 0.9.37, and a load of World of warcraft, wine gecko install
happens. It fails to complete. Only a red error box with no description as to
what happened. It fails to work, also. I had to revert back a version for it to
work.

I ran this again using an x11 connection i'm piping to my windows desktop with
the command "wineconsole --backend=user Tribes.exe -dedicated" and it actually
runs the server quite well. I even had it open a port for a telnet connection,
which it did flawlessly. However, the connection it opens for the actual game
to run a server is not opened. I have replicated this problem across a number
of builds of Wine, including 0.9.37...
I ran the application using the following command:
./wine-0.9.37/programs/wineconsole/wineconsole --backend=user Tribes.exe -dedicated
The only output I got to the shell was:
fixme:winsock:WS_getsockopt IPX_ADDRESS
The application itself worked quite well outside of the fact that it did not
open a port...
This seems to be a bug.
