The maintainer of this app reported this to be fixed, and i just checked, and
indeed, the textures display fine without native urlmon.dll. I guess that's due
to one of Misha Koshelev' s patches. You still have to use native dcom98 to get
the tables running, but that;s filed in another bug

The black and white bug seems to gone as of current git, although ground
textures still only show up with pbuffers. There's still something wrong with
some textures, some trees definately seem wrong and barbed wire looks as if the
alpha channel isn't getting considered (could be just the low settings though).

A workaround is to place the font in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
instead of C:\Windows\Fonts. That way Photoshop bypasses Wine and accesses the
font directly. It also shows that the problem is in Wine, not in Photoshop/the
font.

The patch went into Git so this should work in Wine releases starting from
0.9.45. If you still have problems fill free to reopen the bug.

Interesting. I can't reproduce that, though. These lines look suspicious:

I wanted to update a few days ago but i forgot:
I got random hangs at various stages of the installer. However, when i ran with
WINEDEBUG=+crypt wine msgmr8us.exe
it installed fine, 3 times in a row. So i guess there's some kind of race
situation going on here?
