This does not work in Fallout Tactics, using a non-default cursor set.

I do not know if this issue is directly linked, but I think it is, so here
goes..
Using the patch from #92 ( http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=6853 ) and
to the best of my knowledge also without, CS:S seems to still crash when faced
with rendering a nickname containing certain chars. Which chars this is, I do
not know...
However, it seems to be able to render them in the 'onjoin' message (eg.
"weirdname joined the server") but not in the player list accessed by TAB, nor
if they are killed or kills someone and this is announced in the top right
corner...
This leads me to conclude that it's either a font-related bug, or an
encoding-related bug.
My best guess would be that it's a problem in dlls/gdi32/freetype.c - but I do
not know the code well enough to dig too much around for a solution...
I have noticed this problem in 0.9.44, 0.9.43 and 0.9.42, though, I cannot say
for sure if I have tested all of them without the patch...
(without it, it crashes *all* the time)

Yes, it seems to be a real problem.
What about having maintainers selection "votes for the hole app" or "votes for
the single versions"? Though there are special cases like "version: demo" etc..

This is an even simpler patch that make syspress and Photoshop 6 work.

Just to note, Acomba has some drawing issues in windows, remnants of closed
windows and such...

patch
With this patch to genereate a button #1 press when there is normal pressure, I
can use pressure-sensitivity in Photoshop 6. I will check other versions of
Photoshop. It won't work yet in >= CS2 as they are using Unicode API to access
it (it's not hard to implement it but I think it's better to fix it for older
Photoshops before). I have an impression that the range of pressure values is
smaller on Linux than on Windows but I haven't compared the numbers yet - maybe
it's only an impression.
