patch which implements Nt(Query/Set)InformationThread info class
ThreadQuerySetWin32StartAddress
Hello,
archiving an updated version.
Run tools/make_requests after applying patch to regenerate server protocol
stuff.
Returns thread entry info for custom app crash handlers, debugging tools,
process managers like Microsoft/Sysinternals "ProcessExplorer" and removes
"fixme:thread:NtQueryInformationThread info class 9 not supported yet" spam
from app crashes.
Regards

Ventrilo with msgsm32.acm works for me. Tested by speaking and listening while
Rhythmbox (native) and Guild Wars (wine) both play in the background. Wine
0.9.53.

I've had a quick look around on the net but couldn't find a damn thing on how
to solve this issue and it's bugging me like mad...I've attached a log of what
came up.
At most basic, I've tried to install wine but without luck as seen in the log
attached.
Perhaps some other info that may help:
P4 processor 3.06 Ghz
700 MB RAM
Contains 3 partitions Windows, Data and Ubuntu
Ubuntu 7.10

Single CPU here, HT disabled. Terribly old fashioned of me, I know ;)

I'm playing WoW using a 64bit Ubuntu on a DualCore Intel Cpu.
The underlying problem is probably a race condition because you can reduce lock
ups by setting the linux scheduler cpu affinity mask to just one cpu.
schedtool -a 0x2 -e ./Wow.exe
Are those of you that have the same lockup using dualcore cpus?
