It seems that the game was launched from its own path under a windows
partition.
First of all, i should install it in your wine subdirectory using wine itself,
i can assure the game installer runs fine.
Further, maybe this is not an issue of the game itself, not each version of
wine correctly support bink video decompression (used in this game), latest
0.9.58 doesn't, so i'm still using 0.9.57.

All compiling instructions should be moved from the user guide to the wiki,
really. Users don't compile, and the wiki is a much better place for them
anyway.
Agreed; closing.

hmmm, i have the related bug(any resolution except 640x480, opengl)
and with 0.9.55 there is no problem, but with 0.9.56 is
have also found a commit which causes a regression.

Unfortunately, it still crashes when I do that. I guess the problem must be
somewhere else then.
Thanks!

You have to remove that link in the AppdDB itself.

I've written some tests about this. Turns out that second update doesn't have
anything to do with streaming mode. Rather, it has to do with detached
messages. I suspect the update after the "final" update sets the detached
portion of the content, i.e. the signature.
