Yes, it is x11_copy_from_screen and the code calling it. If you look at the
conditions under which it is called(NULL rectangle and no WRITEONLY lock or
something like that), you'll quickly see that the hack will break as soon as
the application behaves differently, e.g. passes a rectangle that is bigger
than its window but not NULL, or specifies WRITEONLY(pointless flag), etc.
Furthermore the behavior this hack gets working is broken on Vista, so it is
only a matter of time until the applications are fixed or obsolete.

Oops, looks like it was caused by running another setup.exe after extraction ,
as i have a lot of trash in the directory where i download the files.
Sorry for the noise................................
The "DirectX 0" error is still present though

Confirm that the bug is present on 0.9.57 with hardware sound enabled.
Disabling hardware sound seems to fix the problem (not 100% sure, but I've
raided fine for some hours, usually get the bug every half hour or so).

The component can be set when the cause is known (regression test, logs, etc).

This fails for me now, as it says i need to insert cd 1 in the drive, but this
is a demo.... Looks like a regression :(

Summary: GraphEq: installs but doesn't run; hangs
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.57.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: markrian(a)gmail.com
The app GraphEq[1] (Download[2]) installs perfectly, but doesn't run at all.
When you attempt to run the program, an empty window is created, and that is
all. Clicking the close button does nothing, leaving you with the only option
of killing the wine processes.
