Broken Sword 3, +relay log
This is the +relay log, bzip2 compressed. I suspect the crashed is caused by a
bug in dsound/dsound3d, since the last fixme I notice is
"fixme:dsound3d:IDirectSound3DListenerImpl_QueryInterface Unknown IID
{31efac30-515c-11d0-a9aa-00aa0061be93}" and one of the last messages before the
crash is "0009:Ret ole32.CoUninitialize() retval=00000000 ret=00562b64". But
perhaps somebody else are able to understand more from the log.

I confirm that with latest version, 0.9.58, in ubnutu 8.04, the problem is
still present. And yes, msttcorefont is installed.
Thanx!

First up sorry for taking so long, but I migrated to a newer machine a while
ago and didn't get around to testing on the old one.
But I compiled version 0.9.58 on the old machine today and lo and behold: no
more freezes, WINE finally starts up OK again. Don't know which version exactly
was the first one to work again, but IIRC the last one I tried there was
0.9.51, apparently without success. As an aside, 0.9.58 now even runs Max Payne
on this old machine (I only ever got this running on my new box so far). So I'd
say you can close this bug. Good work.

Someone could create a .diff file to be able to apply it before compiling wine?
like the 3dmark.diff patch. I think that is the easy way for all.

This is fixed in current git.
The Tooltip in the screenshoot has a Icon and an empty title.
This is also fixed.
Thanks

Summary: mouse reaches the side of the screen and the player
cannot rotate any further
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.58.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

dinput Channel output
Hello,
In Brother in Arms: Earned in Blood there is a bug in the mouse handling.
I think this bug exists right from the start. I am unsure how to do a
regression test on this since I just know about it since 0.9.52. But
Mouseproblems were reported by others in older Versions (0.9.34)
I did generate a Log with winedebug dinput on. Attached as attachment.
You can download the demo here:
http://www.gearboxsoftware.com/index.php?p=download&dl=31
I will test the demo as soon I find time (may take a while)
Bud description is best done by Alex:
BIA : EIB ... Allmost works.
by alex on Sunday March 16th 2008, 5:36
I got Brothers in arms EIB to work perfectly on my computer (ubuntu 7.10)
The only problem is that you cant keep running circles, this means that you can
only run forward in a +- 100° area.
I think the program does not return the mouse to the middle of the screen with
each frame. Therefore, the mouse reaches the side of the screen and the player
cannot rotate any further
Alex
