That means it's the "Wine doesn't have support for animated cursors" bug.

My bad. To use a noninstalled wineshelllink, you have
to start the installer with
PATH=$HOME/wine-git/tools:$PATH wine-git/wine installers/BLMInstall277.exe
and then the icons are fine, since it's using the new code in the build tree.
Oddly, the link and shortcut on the desktop don't use any
of the icons, but the ones in the Wine menu look good.

Im trying to get it to work with this private server (Akari Ladon), and it
didn't work so i reverted to 0.52 and it said 'Disconnected from server'. So i
checked with iptraf and it was a wrong ip it was trying. I did the iptables
trick but the thing is that its still using the wrong PORT the ip is fine but
is using the wrong port and i already tried this:
iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -i eth0 -p tcp --dport 4170 [bad port] -j
REDIRECT --to-port 6900 [good port]
But it doesn't work any ideas?

Summary: keyboard shortcuts does not work inside an image
"window" PS CS2
Product: Wine
Version: 0.9.57.
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: winex11.drv
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: prahal(a)yahoo.com
shortcuts do not works when inside of an image ? (Ctrl+N, etc) ... this is
especially annoying when trying to move a layer with the ctrl keys to have it
move only horizontally, move less than by 10 pixels steps , etc
... "events" do not bubble from child window to parent main one . I tried
metacity (as I use to run compiz and heard it could produce some wrong
behaviour for wine though I don't understand why ... except for the bug in the
window manager it uses but as metacity 2.22 also shows the issue

Hello,
not msi bug - at least not in current install stage.
I took a quick glance on it, the show stopper seems to be "Protexis" software
protection, which requires some time for investigation.
Looks like another hardware-id based + online activation scheme... privacy
intrusion at it's best.
The 1603 results from failure in acquiring (trial) key data.
Googling a bit this stuff seems not only used in corel products, so it might be
worth to dissect this - once I find more time ;-)
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9162 looks pretty much like a dupe of
this bug, same issue.
Regards

This bug seems to be fixed for me using PokerStars since Wine 0.9.57.
I am currently using Wine 0.9.58 and PokerStars Client v2.447 on Slackware 12.0
with Kernel 2.6.21.5-smp under Xfce 4.4.2. I have started a comment to get
other PokerStars users feedback as to whether this bug is fixed for them. I
will post back when (if) I receive enough feedback.
