This bug still happens on Wine version 1.1.1, it affects photomatix versions
2.xx, versions over 3.0 use .NET and do not run at all on Wine due .NET issues.

Yes, the bug is still there, Newer versions of the software now use .NET
instead of VB, so this particular bug affects versions 2.xx, I tried to run
version 3.x but .NET install gives plenty of errors and the app does not run.
I have a trial copy of version 2.54 that I can email anyone on request.
The bug is still present with version 1.1.1 of wine running on Debian Etch.
I have also uploaded tree images to test the average/hdr with and help
reproduce the bug.

Charity: I've read the FAQ in the appdb.
I am not reporting a new bug here, just updating this bug with current
information.
The text your quoted is no longer valid. And i am not reporting that the game
is crashing for me.
The ini changes you quote from the appdb faq does not make eq models appear.
