ok just an update i tried the source fix, didn't work, i tried the dll fix from
comment #14, didn't work. tried turning off newer models and going with old
ones, didn't work. one thing i did notice is that drakkin models work, no idea
why. Maybe the drakkin working can lead to something.

Summary: Mouse cursor is not visible in KoH
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc2
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: seezero(a)gmail.com
After the opening movies run, the player is presented with an initial options
screen. At this point, the player cannot continue as there is no mouse.
Random clicking seems to have no affect so it is likely more "gone" than
"invisible".
This bug is similar to #6250 which has some applicable history. I was unable to
get that one re-opened.

Current git backtrace
Significant progress with the latest git - the menu now works and the intro and
credits play, unfortunately it crashes with an unhandled page fault a second
into the first actual game engine scene. It also gives an additional error
message:
err:seh:raise_exception Exception frame is not in stack limits => unable to
dispatch exception.

I'm able to create characters, but if I try to change the character biography,
the game hangs with no error messages. If I just skip biographies, it works
fine though. Is this similar to what you guys are getting? This is on Wine
1.1.0.

You did download the modified dll and put it in your EQ directory right? :)
Just making sure...Otherwise, you could try modifying the wine source to see if
you get a different result for some reason. Another thing, was this working for
you ever under a different version of wine?
