At last i've managed to run PuzzleQuest.
I've additionally added other directplay dll's from archive noted in WBC
workaround. And also reinitialized ALSA sound system in winecfg.
So workaround for PuzzleQuest in AppDB should be corrected.

Yes, though wineprefixcreate became deprecated for 1.1.0.

Summary: Wine 0.9.61 *almost* runs Quickbooks
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC

Debug output from firing up Wine with Quickbooks.
I have just built Wine 0.9.61 under Gentoo. I fired up my copy of Quickbooks,
which appeared to work but still generated some diagnostic output as QB started
(attached).
The version of QB that I am running is 3.0. I know that it is old, but the
debug trace indicates that there are still problems with your emulation, so I
though that this was worth submitting. Last time that I tried this it did not
work at all.
The file system that QB resides on is a real NT4 system, Samba mounted on to
Linux-gentoo/x86.
I have done some fiddling around with QB under Wine. It appears to work OK, but
I have not tried doing any transactions that update the data files. I am
looking forwards to throwing out my 'doze box.

Just tested with today's Git, the application seems to be fixed by commit
c0661fdb90816ff5b19c86bb80709cec70896cad, since I am able to successfully start
the application without any overrides.

Summary: OpenGL performance improvement
Product: Wine
Version: unspecified
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: opengl
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: marsliu2000(a)hotmail.com
When I run Counter Strike or Day of Defeat. I always suffer a severe
performance drop when there is fog or I am in an open area. The fps can drop
from 5x fps to fps lower than 20, sometimes even less than 10 and make the game
unplayable. I tried to lower the setting and resolution but they don't help. It
looks like this is a CPU-limited issue. So please improve the openGL conversion
functions so that the openGL performance is not limited by CPU anymore.

I checked out 1.1 but noticed that your patches are still not in there. Are
you able to check it in now?
