While the resulting error messages are non-fatal in some cases (i.e. the user can manually run the installed program afterwards), in many others the installer aborts. At least it's working for me now with wine 1.0.1. I've been able to play 2 battle.net games which lasted about 15 minutes each. The bad thing is, the auto-update of the Blizzard-Patch breaks many installations, even on windows. WC3 didn't start anymore asking for the correct CD after updating to 1.22.
