Could somebody please change the title. All UltraVNC versions are affected at
least the latest 1.0.5 release too.

MS Office 2007 has inking feature for tablet PCs, however, it's turned on only
when it detects that, however, in WINE it doesn't.
Can you do anything about it?
Thanks.

Summary: Warcraft 3 with open radeon driver. Slowness.
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.16
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: major
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: lorenzo.nizzi.grifi(a)gmail.com
I'm running Archlinux with the latest mesa drivers for my mobility x1600 video
card. OpenGL usually, where supported, runs fine and fps are quite good (nexuiz
is perfect and fast). DRI is on glxinfo say that opengl is active. However
opening warcraft 3 (frozen throne)with -opengl -window options is really a
pain. The games start but everything is really slow and you cannot play the
game. FYI using the proprietary drivers everything was running very well.
The output of the command line is at http://paste2.org/p/161292
Thanks

At first, I am unable to install the demo with clean ~/.wine dir. It pops up
message box:
> Setup was unable to find (or could not read) the language specific setup
> resource dll, unable to continue. Please reboot and try again.
If I set Wine version to win98, setup is going OK. How any of other testers
managed to install the Trial?
And then I can hear sounds of the installer, but not during the game.

Yes, it seems that the TomTomHome software accesses the mounted FAT-partition
only for updating userdata. Alle other communication goes through a other
usb-connection.

No, the TomTomHome windows software is closed source and while the Linux
distribution (golinux) is open, the GUI back-end is not.
Please have a close look on http://www.tomtom.com/page.php?Page=gpl !

Sound works everywhere else, so i dont think that this is a problem! I am
running a lot of wine applications too, so i am quite sure that my sound-system
is not the cause.
... And i am using ALSA output, but i could give OSS a try too.

Well I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 which defaults to using ALSA, but it works with OSS
too.
Does sound in any app through Wine work? Have you tested the sound in winecfg?

Hi Ken,
to answer your previous question: I am running Arch Linux and wine-1.1.16.
I've tried your link to the trial version with a clean .wine directory. Still
no sound.
I also get some audio related error messages on the console:
"
err:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_IDirectMusicLoader_SetObject : could not
attach stream to file
fixme:dmime:IDirectMusicPerformance8Impl_InitAudio (0x24b9d78, 0x2cb01b8,

fixme:dmime:IDirectMusicPerformance8Impl_InitAudio return
dsound((nil),-2005401590)
"
