I have done the dll overrides and added the registry values. TA can use TCP/IP,
see the game, but I can't join it. Just stays there for about 20 seconds and
refreshes the lobby. Oddly enough a similar thing happens when I run TA in
Windows 7. :P Hosting does not work either, as the other computer won't even
see the room created. I don't see any errors being spit out in Terminal though.

Font rendering error in Wine settings
Text in Wine has become unreadable. Sentences appear to be rendered multiple
times layered over each other. I'm not sure what I can add to this other than
the attached screenshot as I am getting no errors reported and I have all the
fonts installed that are usually suggested. This is also occurring in
applications, I will attach a second screenshot of this.
I have tried a complete removal and reinstallation of Wine, which did not solve
the problem.

The 1.1.16 package for Ubuntu Intrepid does not seem to include the uninstaller
program. When I try running it, I get:
The program 'uninstaller' is currently not installed. You can install it by
typing:
sudo apt-get install wine
bash: uninstaller: command not found
I installed wine from the Wine intrepid repository.

Install + login working fine.
Character selection screen is completely unresponsive, unable to minimize,
close, select character, click okay, or interact with in any way.
Rendering is 100% fine, my 8800GTX is capacitor whining, so it must be at least
a few hundered fps >_<

Check the "Print as image" box on the print menu. That solved the postscript
source output problem for me. I am using Acrobat 5 (full version) with an HP
1320 Laserjet under CUPS.

It would be convenient if "winecfg appname.exe", ran from the command line,
opened "Wine configuration of appname.exe", adding appname to the list if it
isn't already in it. This way, you'd be able to easily configure your Windows
apps from any file manager.

Summary: Tomb Raider Anniversary cannot be installed
Product: Wine

Severity: normal
Priority: P2

AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Running TRA setup shows a message "Please insert the original Tomb Raider:
Anniversary disk 1 and press OK to continue". After tring to setup TRA several
times I got a message window saying something like "Securom thinks you are
using not original disk".
I had no problem installing the game in some previous version of wine a year
ago. Also running setup under WinXP in VirtualBox gives no error.
P.S. I'm running Ubuntu 8.10 x86-64
