"Invalid CTL default:0"
it seem that your config is wrong
ALSA CTL device can only be "hw:0"
"default:0" was used for PCM device but has been obsolete
i.e. wine cannot allow use to select sound card anymore
wine seem access alsa pcm device but oss synth
do you get sound when run the following command since it require your sound
card support wavetable synth or running a softsynth "timidity -iA "
wine dlls/winmm/tests/winmm_test.exe.so midi

PNG file of small piece of screenshot that shows garbled text
Civilization IV installed from CD and patched to 1.74. Ubuntu 10.04, 64 Bit
system. NVidea graphics card (OpenGL works great with other apps).
When running on Wine 1.2-rc1, no problems observed. But after upgrade to
1.2-rc2 via Ubuntu's Update Manger, text is garbled. Restarted several times,
rebooted, etc. to no avail.
See attachment for a sample of garbled text.

Summary: Starcraft II beta crashes during startup or logging in
Product: Wine
Version: 1.2-rc2
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: mephisto123(a)gmail.com
After latest SC II patch (14) the game started to crash during startup or
logging into Battle.net
I have tried different versions of wine (1.1.44 + sc2 patch, 1.2-rc2 + sc2
patch, 1.2-rc2 without any patches) but the problem persists.
The game can crash in different places (70% of the crashes - during startup,
before loging screen appears; 24% when I press Connect, 3% when i press Login
and 2% after logging in and finding opponent, before starting countdown). Also
there is very little (like 1%) chance to play normally.
I have run wine with WINEDEBUG=+all option and got attached log.
It was a crash during game startup.

Summary: Tron 2.0: poor mouse movement when keyboard in use
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.44
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: nescientia(a)gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=28529)
--> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=28529)
Output from WINEDEBUG=+dinput
The mouse movement is fine when the keyboard is not being pressed, but as soon
as a key is held down, the mouse movement is very intermittent. While moving
the mouse to turn, the player will turn a few degrees, stop, turn a few
degrees, stop, etc. Holding down keys like Ctrl and Shift don't cause this
problem but movement keys and most other keys do. I have attached a log of the
dinput debug output.
