The download link is broken. I couldn't find a new one for the beta version of
Windows Live Mail, only for the released version
(http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mail). And that installer quickly runs
into bug 23440. So unless someone still has the beta version around it's
probably safe to mark this bug as abandoned?

I confirm that this continues to be a problem, using Wine 1.3.1 on Ubuntu
10.04. The installer exits and offers to send information to Microsoft. The
only relevant content to that information that I could find was the following:

Complete log of the page fault in winedbg
I was debugging user32 clipboard tests when the page fault happened.
So I re-ran winedbg without adding any breakpoint and it occurred again.
Wine is the latest from git.
The log attached should contain all you need.
But don't hesitate to ask me anything.

generates a first chance exception.
Regression testing resulted the following commit:
