Hi,
This was reported on the forum:
https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?p=145869#p145869
If you put a hack to return TRUE for VerifyVersionInfoW then it goes further.
The failing call seems to be:
trace:ver:VerifyVersionInfoW (00007FFFFE1FFD24 0x33 0x1b01b)
which seems to fail

The game was built on the Unity engine, the problem can be reproduced in the
non-Steam demo version too.
When I enable anti-aliasing in the options menu the screen is rotated 180
degrees (text in the menus remains unaltered).
Reproduced on nouveau/mesa and nvidia binary drivers 340.76
The problem is present in Wine 1.2, 1.4, 1.6 too.

plain terminal output (Dungeons demo installer)
After a successful installation of the demo (Dungeons) one can notice that two
directories were created in the root of drive_c: during installation.
One is named "0" containing a shortcut "Play.lnk"
The other directory is named "1" containing a shortcut "Continue play.lnk"
If I'm not mistaken, they should belong to the Game Explorer stuff.
I don't have Vista or Seven only a Windows XP running in Virtualbox. After
installation those shortcuts went into
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows\GameExplorer\{BB112F90-7C81-4352-8823-861D3957CF8A}\PlayTasks
I guess in Wine they should go into:
/users/Public/Application
Data/Microsoft/Windows/GameExplorer/{BB112F90-7C81-4352-8823-861D3957CF8A}/PlayTasks
At least other games (e.g. Woody Two-Legs) place their Game Explorer shortcuts
there.
I've tried installing the demo with WinXP, Vista and Windows 7 compatibility
modes but the directories were always created in the root directory.
Dungeons demo download link added to URL (~525 MB).

A crash occurs when you quit the game.
The problem is present in 1.0.1, 1.2.3 and so on.
I have the 1.15new version of the game.
The crash can be reproduced in the demo, too but the demo suffers from bug
#11782.
1) Install the demo as usual.
2) You will probably need a modified ddraw.dll, available here:
http://www.gsc-game.com/index.php?t=downloads&ss=299&s=patch
3) Run the executable, it will extract a ddraw.dll. Place it in the game
directory and override ddraw.dll to native, builtin in winecfg.
4) Start the game by dmcr.exe, click on Exit in the main menu >> a page fault
is generated.

Neither the intro videos (company logos) nor the in-game cutscenes are playing
in Megarace 3: Wine simply skips the videos without an error message. It's a
pity because there are some hilarious cutscenes in the game, featuring Lance
Boyle as the host of the game.
The company logos which should be played right after starting have the
following properties:
Video: WMV v7, 640x480 px, 4:3
Audio: WMA v7, 128 kbps, 44 kHz, Stereo, 16 bits
The cutscenes in the game are separated into 2 files:
a wmv file which also includes an audio track (WMV v7 / WMA v7)
and a corresponding wav file (ADPCM, Stereo, 22 kHz)
After installing WMP9 or 10 via winetricks the videos are still not playing.
The demo can be used to test the issue but it contains only one of the company
logos.

Revert c0d0468da
Since this commit from the 9.4 series c0d0468da96ec6831f26958e937f978dd62a8cbd
Touch input has been broken in Wayland XWayland and X11 proper
Arch Linux
Plasma Wayland session/X11 session
Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch any winecfg from 9.4 up until latest rc
2. Observe touchscreen input is offset above the touch point
3. Touch is also limited to the winecfg window being in the upper left. Moving
the window anywhere else, it is not intercepted.
I have successfully built 10.0-rc3 reverting that commit and observe touch
functionality being restored.
Attached revert for current master

Ubuntu 24.04.1 and WINE 9.18 ( version 9.21 crash some softwares related with
the bug https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57306 so not tested with that
version ).
ROMCenter 4.1.1 32 bits. An rom manager software using database hash.
When is done the creation of database happen an crash showing the error message
below and close the software.
IO Exception cannot locate resource images/defaultsystemicon.png
Seeing in some sites is as if is related with net framework.
Some WINE previous versions the software run perfectly without errors.
Perhaps is related with wine-mono ?
Have an nice week.
