Bug ID: 58826
Summary: Winhq 10.17 seems to loose window focus??
Product: Wine
Version: 10.17
Hardware: x86-64
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: mikes(a)guam.net
Distribution: ---
Just upgraded to 10.17 and notices a change in process.
Seems to loose focus on the wine window?
Click on something, and the try entering a character, and nothing happens.
Have to click on top of wine window to get focus back, and then pressing key
works.
I've noticed the with Pegasus email 4.91, but not sure if it is only with that
app, or with many apps. Another user posted an issue with an earlier wine issue
with Pegasus. But think this is new with 10.17.
I've also noticed, that it seems to also have the XFCE bottom panel pop up at
same time. Generally, it hides when not in use, but should only pop back up
when mouse is moved in that lower area, but in this case the mouse pointer is
no where near that area??
Thanks.

When I start the game launcher, the 4 buttons in it (play, video, advanced, quit)
are not drawn either in fullscreen or in virtual desktop mode.
If I grab the launcher window and move it towards the edge of the screen, the
buttons appear when that part of the window which holds the buttons moves
beyond the screen.
The launcher needs mfc42.dll.
There is no demo version available.

I am using Default UI.
Changing the volume control bar does not change the actual volume.
I have tried all output devices.
Perhaps it is a bug in winecoreaudio?

Summary: Tooltips block input in Foobar2000
Product: Wine
Version: 5.22
Hardware: x86-64

**Context:**
Like with most media players, Foobar2000's playlist view is essentially a
spreadsheet where each line is a track and each column displays a tag or
metadata field.
If the length of the tag exceeds the width of the column, it gets cut off. You
can see the full tag in a tooltip by hovering over it with a mouse in that
case.
**The problem:**
As long as the tooltip is displayed, the app registers neither keyboard nor
mouse input.
I suspect this problem exists in a variety of
[apps](https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16227), not just Foobar2000, but
here it is especially annoying.
**Expected behavior:**
When input is sent, the tooltip should disappear, and Foobar2000 should react
to the input. This is what happens under Windows 10.

After upgrading from 10.5 to 10.6 I can't minimize Pegasus Mail. When I click
minimize the window only flashes, seems like it minimizes but immediately
restores to open window with the same size as before.
No error messages in console.
git bisect suggests it may be related to commit

After updating to WINE 10.13, foobar2000 no longer opens successfully. The
window appears with blank panels and then crashes and closes. Reverting to WINE
10.12 fixes the issue.
I've compared both WINE versions in a new WINEPREFIX with a portable
installation of foobar2000-x64_v2.24.6. I'm using Arch with an up-to-date
system. The terminal output of both runs as well as foobar2000's crash report
are shown here:
