Hello everyone, I am the AppDB maintainer of "Capitalism 2" a business strategy game which has some issues I would like to point out. The initial issue during tests some releases ago was that mouse control wasn't working but a staged patch could be applied which fixed the issue and got integrated into main wine. https://github.com/wine-compholio/wine-staging/tree/master/patches/dinput Unfortunately a new issue has sprung up in the game which is that when I move the mouse it has some redrawing issues and paints the background. Unfortunately the installer (setup.exe) doesn't start up and gives a fatal error. I have included the register dump and the Terminal listing as attachments. I have tried to install Wine many times and it always fails at this point. I installed Wine as follows: sudo apt remove wine* && sudo apt autoremove sudo add-apt-repository ppa:wine/wine-builds sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-devel When I tired to install Bicycle Bridge (setup.exe) I got windows saying to install "mono" and "gecko". I clicked the install button in each of these windows. After the failed install, Bicycle Bridge ran fine until my wife won a game. Then it froze and had to be xkilled. This is repeatable. If you click Continue, the installer opens INSTALL.TXT in Notepad. When you close Notepad, the installer should continue, but instead it hangs. If you click Skip, the installer works but hangs after installation. The attached patch fixes the problem, mostly. For some reason you have to click the background after closing Notepad, and the installer still hangs at the end.
