Imperium use Wave audio, and it's supposed to be implemented. And in fact audio fully worked on wine-staging 8.10 (first checked) until 8.15 (last working version available on the arch repo, these version doesn't seems to be compilable, maybe require an older version of some toolchain component), while the sucessive version available on the arch repo, 8.18 doesn't work anymore, and this match with the disabling of dmime-load-wave from staging, as it's supposed to be included into upstream. However it seems the current upstream is quite differently from the patchset, using wavetracks instead of putting the wave inside a segment. Resulting log shows multiple object interoperating, and dmime have a lot of functions that while having an implementation are still marked like "fixme stub",making it confusing to debug without being familiar. It is crashing during starting in a Wine 9.0 box among Linux Mint. Wine tricks is also installed. I think the mistakes have to do with Microsofts .Net Runtime environment. I could install the above mentioned software without a mistake message under Wine 9.0. .Net package is also installed. The previous main Version of Profi cash was version 11. Profi cash version 11 runs in a Wine 9.0 box on the same computer. The only two things which are not doing is printing and working with a reiner sct (smartcard reader) via USB. But I can live with that. I think the reason is, that Wine is just a box for a Windows program and not a complete Windows environment. If so, that would be fine. By the way Profi cash Version 11 needs no .Net Runtime environment to run. The development of Version 11 is terminated. New features and amendments by law or regulations will be only technically implemented in Version 12. Hope someone can help me. In jpeg_decoder_initialize, the values for cinfo.output_width and cinfo.output_height are retrieved directly from a jpeg file's header. cinfo.output_width and cinfo.output_height can be manipulated by editing the header of the jpeg file being processed. They are two bytes each in the image's header so their values can range from 0x0000 to 0xFFFF. These variables are multiplied with frame.bpp. When these three values are multiplied together they can exceed the limit of a 32-bit unsigned integer, leading to an integer overflow vulnerability. This product is used to set the size of the image_data buffer, which will store the decompressed jpeg (https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/master/dlls/windowscodecs/libjpeg.…) When the sizing arguments overflow, the buffer becomes too small to store the decompressed data. The program writes the decompressed image to the buffer using the jpeg_read_scanlines function. The function ends up writing to out-of-bounds memory due to the buffer’s small size (https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/master/dlls/windowscodecs/libjpeg.…) This causes data in memory adjacent to the buffer to be overwritten. An attacker is in control of the image's height, width, and contents. The client straight up crashes with said error. I've been said on CachyOs discord server that that funcion is stub, But i'm not that tech savvy so it would point me in any direction. After loading one of the place templates, you notice that most of the child windows are pitch black as well. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create an account on roblox.com. 2. Download the installer for Roblox Studio. 3. Create a desktop entry named "Roblox_Studio.desktop" with the following contents. Replace <user> with the name of your user. It should return `ERROR_NOT_LOCKED` (158) instead. This breaks Rust's `std::fs::File::unlock`, which deliberately calls `UnlockFile` twice on every release (to handle the documented case of a handle holding both an exclusive and a shared lock on the same region), and explicitly tolerates `ERROR_NOT_LOCKED` on the second call but propagates any other error [1]. The result is a spurious "Lock violation" error reported by Rust programs that use `File::unlock` under Wine. I encountered this downstream while adding a Wine integration test in uv [2]. In `server/fd.c`, `unlock_fd()` calls `set_error(STATUS_FILE_LOCK_CONFLICT)` when no lock with the exact (start, end) is found on the handle [3]. Per `dlls/ntdll/error.h` that status maps to `ERROR_LOCK_VIOLATION` (33) [4], whereas the semantically correct status for "no such lock" is `STATUS_RANGE_NOT_LOCKED`, which maps to `ERROR_NOT_LOCKED` (158) [5, 6]. These two should be flipped. I have tested with SDL disabled and enabled and I get the same behavior. This occurs in current wine and in current proton releases. The problem does not occur in Proton 6 series, but does with 7 and later. I am aware this bug tracker is for wine, but using Proton was the best way to test an older, albeit heavily patched, version of wine that I am currently aware of.
