Tested this on Windows 2000 and noticed it works same as it works in Wine
meaning that text is indeed invisible so this is not Wine bug but feature of
the Windows/Game.
Wine version was 0.9.44-195-g282696b

I should say, it worked with Dragon NS version 7.
9 still doesn't start. Don't know if it plays back.

This has been solved. Maintainers can now mark a version as obsolete, and when
he does that he has to choose which version to move the votes to. This allows
having several current versions at once, too.

The introduction is cutscene so... when game starts it works just fine here
with Wine 0.9.44-195-g282696b (latest from GIT)... I did not try any cutscenes
after solving puzzles since I did not solve any.... but I guess it works since
"Introduction" cutscene works.

on Wine 0.9.44-195-g282696b (latest from the GIT) both Demo 1.0 and Retail
1.0(both on D3D and DDraw) did not crash here on default settings at all...
however did not not play long time since I could not solve any puzzles.
Also I did not get any DSound errors.

I tried the Retail 1.0 version and no problems with saving or loading games...
Wine 0.9.44-195-g282696b was used(latest from the GIT) on both D3D and DDraw
modes.

Both Demo 1.0(I could not find main menu in this version or D3D mode) and
Retail 1.0 does not crash here at all when opening main menu in D3D or DDraw
mode with Wine 0.9.44-195-g282696b (latest from GIT)

Fixed.
> Today's git works fine but when the installer wants you to change disks you can
not do it, since some process holds an open file on the disk and Linux will not
let you forcibly eject it in this case.
Run the installer with winefile and eject with 'wine eject'. The current
directory open in bash is what is keeping eject from working.

Copying CDs to hard drive (like ~/foo/disc1, ~/foo/disc2 and ~/foo/disc3)
before running setup.exe does work.
