The initial splash screen that says "Loading..." in several languages shows up fine. Then I get the following dialog boxes: "Error locating tag node in SetGlobalClassInfo function Current XML file is: GameInfo/CIV4PlayerOptionInfos.xml" Clicking "OK" gets the same dialog box repeated. After that, the game crashes. The game runs starts up and runs fine, just as expected. No overrides were required, neither on msxml3 nor on dx9. The only regression is some missing textures in the leaders' animated portraits'. The most notable one being the black eyes on Spain's leader. But this could simply be due to Dx9. Anyway, great job. @Adam: You did not sound cranky at all. I was just afraid I could be testing the whole thing wrong and compromising your work.
