Install reports success, but not sure how to test this. I assume if it works
properly that I should see a printer port in wine applications, e.g., notepad,
but I don't, so I assume it's still present.

Using find/sha1sum/diff, seems only:

./drive_c/windows/system32/ASYCFILT.DLL
change before/after install.
Terminal shows:

L"C:\\users\\austin\\Temp\\IXP000.TMP\\COMCAT.DLL" ->
L"C:\\windows\\system32\\COMCAT.DLL"
e.g., the installer didn't overwrite the dlls wine already has (which probably
have a newer version, anyway).
The progress bard displays, albeit briefly. Based on previous comments, sounds
like this bug is fixed.

Also affects Point Blank (in my case, the one at http://pb.kaybo.com )
At least, it claims to be starting hackshield, then it silently quits.

Also affects LoveBeat.
(When I started the game, GameGuard downloaded 53 files, then crashed.
Restarting showed a "starting gameguard antihacking system" window,
and then a crash.)

Summary: Mass effect 2 demo: intro video too dark on nvidia 300
cards
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.5
Platform: x86
URL: http://masseffect.bioware.com/
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: austinenglish(a)gmail.com
It may only affect 300 series cards. On a gt 330, in the intro video, the scene
that has the 'Illusive man' saying "and it's up to us to stop them" is way too
dark, to the point that his face can't be seen. On a machine with a 480, it
looks okay.
On windows with a 330, works fine.
