page fault on read access to 0x00000030 at address 0x7d5b14a2 (thread 0009),
starting debugger...
This seems to be a regression in wined3d, but due to my internet connection
(Dial-Up) I cannot do the regression testing. (Sorry for this inconvenience.
:'( )
Wine 1.1.38 now reports a pagefault on read access when launching the game,
attached is the log. Previous versions of wine, e.g. 1.1.35/37, did not have
this issue.

Installation output in terminal
I installed Multisim 10.1 with Wine 1.1.38 and it took about an hour to
install, I thought it was going to hang. Finally it finished installing and
then crashed. It won't allow me to run the program and the output in the
terminal is attached.
This is a very important program for school, I hope this gets fixed soon. :)
Thank you,
Ronak

Issue still exists (at least in Bloodrayne 2), wine-1.1.39, Fedora 12 x86,
Nvidia gfx card , driver 190.53.
However, let me say that I have no such problem with Bloodrayne 1 (the game
shows menu text correctly).

Max's DIB Patches updated to apply nicely on wine 1.1.39
Given the configure.ac changes from 1.1.38, and the scanline fix above, I made
two edits to the patches so that they will apply without errors on wine 1.1.39.

After upgrading to 1.1.38, all sound except background music in TES IV:

not there. Other people have said that all sound has stopped entirely.

Summary: Would like WINEDLLPATH for user DLLs
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0.1
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: sam(a)robots.org.uk
I'm cross compiling some software on a Linux build environment for a Windows
host. As part of that process I'd like to be able to run the test suite via
Wine.
As part of the build process, I populate a DLL directory with symlinks to all
the various DLLs required by the compiled executables. I thought that adding
this to the PATH environmant variable would cause Wine to find the DLLs, but
this is does not appear to be the case.
Here's an example:
$ ls -l dlls
-rwxr-xr-x 1 sam sam 266749 2010-02-20 14:20 libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll
$ PATH=$PATH:dlls wine a.exe
err:module:import_dll Library libgcc_s_sjlj-1.dll (which is needed by
L"Z:\\tmp\\a.exe") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"Z:\\tmp\\a.exe"
failed, status c0000135
So I'd like to request that an environment variable be added that contains
additional directories that will be added to the DLL search path.
Coping the DLLs into the build tree to run the tests is inconvenient because
there are test executables all over the build tree, and hacking the various
build systems to perform the copying, then removing the DLLs again would be
quite tricky.
