Tips for those arriving at Wineconf

- if you're flying into Charles de Gaul airport, bring 8 euros *in coins* for the train ticket into town - don't exchange much money at the airport, the exchange rate is terrible. $50 gets you 28 euros. (Supposedly ATMs and credit cards are the way to go, although most places don't like US credit cards because they lack chips.) - If you forget a US power adapter for your laptop, you can get a simple one for 7 euros at Bazar D'Electricite, 34 Boulevard Henri IV, a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. - the hotel wireless is ok, but voip/p2p/streaming are forbidden, and has a 200MB/day limit.

Last chance to send in your PGP keys

Unless we can find a printer at the hotel, I will have to print all the keys right before I leave my sister's house toward the hotel, this evening. This means that any key not sent to me by 5pm local time might be left out of the key signing party itself. Hi, there are meanwhile some announced talks, so i wonder if there is time enough at wineconf? My part will be following (if time): Find a good name for my upcoming CE support project and what it's all about. Dan Kegel told me about this conference and I decided to go :) I want to know if any of you guys is interested on a talk about the newest verion of ZeroWine (zerowine.sourceforge.net), the patches I wrote for Wine, the problems I found with Wine's loader and malware, etc...
