In Windows if dragging the open file dialog to a new location, on the next time it is opened it will be opened at the same location. In Wine it is always opened at the top left corner of the application. This is quite inconvenient on a big screen with maximized app. Note that when resizing the dialog, wine does remember the size on the next open so hopefully the position could be a slight extension to this. When running the install with the command "wine start /unix '/run/media/mark/USB DISK/Paintshop Pro/Paintshop Pro Ultimate 2018/psp2018_ult/Setup.exe'" the install crashes while on the fist screen of the setup that announces the installation wizard is starting. Perhaps a newer version of Wine would fix the issue. I also have different versions of Paintshop Pro that I could try as I have been using it under Windows for years. I am extremely new to Wine after trying in a it back in 1997 so I might be able to fiddle and get the install to run. I am running OpenSuse Leap 15.2 and installed their package of wine with command, "zypper install wine." The exit button invokes a command to close the window and terminate the application, freeing up memory in that process. Actually, pushing the cross widget on the window´s upper right corner initiates the inherent closing routine and this one runs without problems. I am the author of this software program. The crash only occurs when running under wine, as opposed to running in Windows. I found a workaround that seems to point to the problem. I found that if I clear the check-box for "Show Preview" in the file save dialog box, the file saves normally. Tri-tools.com has been very cooperative in offering help, rather than simply saying "We don't support Linux" as so many developers do when asked for help. Here is a paste of their latest response to information that I had given them: >> If a report file is generated, it will be stored in your Temp folder.
