This is release 20040309 of Wine, a free implementation of Windows on Unix. This is still a developers only release. There are many bugs and unimplemented features. Most applications still do not work correctly.
WHAT'S NEW with Wine-20040309: (see ChangeLog for details) - Much improved winegcc tool, now used to build Wine itself. - VxDs are now separate libraries for better modularity. - Improvements and simplifications to the drive configuration. - New setupapi INF script to create the initial registry. - Many improvements to the various multimedia dlls. - Lots of bug fixes.

Patches should be submitted to "wine-patches@winehq.org". Please don't forget to include a ChangeLog entry. If you submitted a patch, please check to make sure it has been included in the new release.
