wine 112 G2 w/ NOTR crashes after intro but before menu
tested with wine 1.1.2 on ubuntu_x86_x64 and g2 1.33 (that is the gold version)
g2 (without Night of the Raven) started without problems however you can see a
Backtrace in the console, the game keeps running but crashes with an Access
Violation after playing intros (jowood and piranha bytes) and showing the
background menu picture (but not the menu itself)
(see GothicWine112crashafterIntro)

what I did was:
started AutoRun.exe with Nautilus, closed Nautilus after that!
I could not eject with cd-rom drive button
however eject with "wine eject d:" in terminal worked like a charme

Hi,
I've recently bought TomTom GO 920 (unfortunately, I did not check the Linux
support thoroughly, I just googled for the app name and I've found some post
saying that it works in wine ...) and I have the same problem.
The strange thing, in my case, is that after connecting the device to the
computer, it does not ask whether I want to connect to the computer (but it
does if I connect it to a Windows machine), however I am still able to mount
both the internal storage and the SD card read-write.
I tried to read through the comments, but I do not understand what it is all
about :-( However, If somebody provides straight steb-by-step how-to, I can
help testing using my device.

Summary: Daniel Valot's Shishensho classic 1.22 doesn't show stop
sign properly at end of game (dogfood)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.2
Platform: Other
URL: http://dvalot.free.fr/download/SHISENST.EXE
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
Daniel Valot has several games available for download at
http://dvalot.free.fr/games.htm
This bug is in the 'classic' or 'ascii' (non-.NET) version of his ShiShenSho.
My wife plays this often, and problems in it are a showstopper
for migration to Linux (see http://kegel.com/wine/migrating-user-1.html).
The game plays tolerably in Linux (once you figure out to click the 'X'
icon on the left bar to get fullscreenish mode), right up until
the end. When you successfully complete a level, it's supposed
to display an octagonal window with some choices, but
on Wine, it's not displayed properly - there's only a white
octagon, sometimes missing some text. You can move the octagon around
and if you cover and uncover it, part of it gets drawn better, but it's
still not right, I think.
The tough part is, I don't have a recipe to reproduce,
other than 'play a level and win'. I'll see if I can find
a way to load a game on the verge of winning, and attach
the saved game file.

Summary: While starting the Worms Armageddon, it freezes the X.

Console output
Worms Armageddon is an old game. It requires DirectX 7 and is created mainly
for Win95/98. It doesn't work under XP or Vista without a patch (as far as I
know).
While running the game, it freezes the X if wine is set to operate in full
screen mode. If it is set to emulate a virtual desktop, then game just stands
still - it doesn't even show the main menu.
I've provided the console output of the wine whilst running the game.
