sound enabled but no driver checked

With a fresh wine prefix sound is enabled but I can't see which driver is used because none of them is checked in the new winecfg sound dialog. Did we forget to initialize the boxes on first run? Cheers, Cihan

cvs.winehq.org slow?

Ok, got it.. I just figured it would help to know what games use what CP measures, so we could get a percentage or something, maybe the better place would be in the wiki? Actually, yea I like that idea better, I will put up a CP page under my homepage in the wiki, and ask people to look up their game, and to post their game under the page for whichever copy protection their game uses.. wineconsole & DOS newlines

Hi. I am using the wine version from Debian Sarge 3.0. However, I cannot use interactive console programs, because -- I suppose -- it is "missing" the '\r' (^M) character of shell terminals in command terminations (carriage-return/new-line). As I could not find the fix/workaround for that (even on your FAQ), I decided ask you how to run interactive DOS programs that wait for command lines. Hell, I almost uninstalled wine because of it thinking I should stay away from something that unstable and potentially dangerous. But maybe it's not all Wine's fault. Last week my brother and I got together with a friend of his to play a couple late-night matches of CS Source. I was playing on Windows XP since Source games don't work so well on Wine yet. For some reason I can't explain, my network's router kept failing spontaneously while we were playing, in a similar manner in wine with the patch.
