wine-staging wineodbc fix

Hello, I've noticed that the wine-staging wineodbc library fails to compile ever since it got introduced in commit 14f63f40e7c87dc87ca1dc64aaa66f344bada4da (but only for 32-bit) This is because the unixlib part of wineodbc requires linking to libodbc (which is rarely present on 32-bit) and because libodbc isn't present, there's a lot of missing symbols The Wine configure.ac does have some checks to prevent building of the whole odbc component if libodbc is missing (but that only works for odbc32, not wineodbc) To fix this issue, enable_odbc32 can be edited to enable_wineodbc in the configure.ac file (make sure to run autoreconf to actually include the fix in the configure script too) Thanks

I'm not going to accept new architectures unless there's a credible path towards making them a first class citizen. This would require at least a PE toolchain, and some kind of ARM64EC-style architecture to be able to run x64 binaries with good performance. This allows ODBC 3.0 functions to use fallback functions when the native driver only supports ODBC 2.0 functions. Hi Peter, Sorry to bother, but now that the Linux merge window is closed could I request a review of this revision of the ntsync patch set, please (or a review from another locking maintainer)? I believe I've addressed all of the comments from the last review, except those which would have changed the existing userspace API (although since the driver isn't really functional yet, maybe this would have been fine to do anyway?) How to add ICU support?

Hi all, I'm currently trying to get the current version of Logos (https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=771) running on Wine. One of the (many) problems is that newer versions of the app use the icu libraries that are part of newer versions of Windows (see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/intl/international-componen… ). As far as I could gather, the source code for the icu libraries as shipped with Windows is at https://github.com/microsoft/icu (see especially https://github.com/microsoft/icu/tree/master/icu-patches/patches for the patches that are applied relative to the upstream icu library). What would be the best way to add ICU support to Wine? Best regards, Thomas
