new winetricks-alpha 20110218-alpha: new verbs office2007pro, sketchup, starcraft2_demo, wowtrial, 14 others; new option --isolate-games

Another month, another winetricks-alpha. winetricks-alpha version 20110218 adds the following new verbs: atmosphir deusex2_demo dsoundhw=emulation eve fable_tlc fifa11_demo hegemony_demo hon imvu kotor1 kotor2 lhp_demo mb_warband_demo office2003pro office2007pro sketchup starcraft2_demo videomemorysize wowtrial and four new options: --gui Force gui progress indications even when run from commandline --isolate-games Puts games in their own sandboxed wineprefix. Experimental. --noclean Leave temp files when verbs done. Useful when debugging. --showbroken Gui normally hides apps known not to work with current wine. This shows them anyway. and one new feature: Commands are now logged to $WINEPREFIX/winetricks.log so user has a record of what he did to the bottle and updates a number of download URLs, most notably mxsml3. FWIW, I had implemented this a few years ago with my (long defunct) Linux-D3D project. I've attached what I had. It's written in C++, but converting it to C shouldn't be too difficult. It hasn't had any real testing, so I can't say how good of an implementation it is (I only implemented it to satisfy a simple demo app), but perhaps it may be a good starting point.

Hi I (and a lot of contributors to the Nokia forums) would like to use the Nokia PC Suite in Wine. The current status in the AppDB of Nokia PC Suite <http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=1026> v7.x.x.x is "Garbage" because, although installation and all the other functions now (wine v1.2.2) work just fine, it is totally useless without its "Connect a Phone" function.
